In Jacó, you’ll find all you need: tourist shopping, courier service, internet access, lodging for all budgets and great restaurants. Because of its easy access to San José (only 1 1/2 to 2 hours) it is growing rapidly, and is beginning to take on the flavor of a city.
Lifestyle here is casual and relaxed, with many options to party or enjoy a fine dinner at night. Surfing has always been the greatest attraction here as the waves are good to beginners, and the beach is long with many surf breaks. The town certainly has a surf feling to it, there are many surf-related businesses and activities.
