This has more historic interest than other parks. La Casona was an hacienda where three battles occur, the first one in 1856. now it serves as museum and information center.
At 13 km from La Casona, you will find Playa Naranjo and Playa Nancite, beautiful places. The white sand Playa Nancite is famous for the nesting of ridley turtles. The Santa Rosa National Park covers 49 515 ha of the Santa Elena Peninsula. Camping facilities are good. |
