The Caribbean coast of Costa Rica goes from the Panama border up to the Nicaragua border on the North. It is on of the regions with greater geographical diversity in the country. The weather is almost always hot and humid, and, specially between May and Agust and at the end and beginning of the year, rainfall can be more intense.

In Limón, cuisine also stands up in the country. It is diverse and delicious. Dishes cooked in coconut milk are a specialty, for example, the famous Rice and Beans and Rondón (seafood and veggies). Also famous is Pati, a turnover filled with spicy meat. |
