This beautiful and relaxing beach community is located some 8 km southeast of Puerto Viejo. Punta Uva is within the Gandocal-Manzanillo Wildlife Refuge. It is great for swimming. Once there, you can go to Playa Chiquita, just 300 meters away.
From here you can take dolphin watching tours. Other activities are kayakying and horseback riding. The reef-proteced beach is great for water sports.
